Eugene Melnyk is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Neurolign Technologies Incorporated. Melnyk began his career by creating the medical publishing company Trimel Corporation. He then went on to become Founder and Chairman of Biovail Corporation; a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on research and development of advanced drug delivery technologies. Under his leadership, Biovail became Canada’s largest publicly traded pharmaceutical company, generating more than $1 billion in annual revenue. Eugene Melnyk assumed the role of sole Owner, Governor and Chairman of the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club and Canadian Tire Centre on August 26, 2003. Under Melnyk’s ownership of the Senators, the team has made the playoffs on nine occasions, including two trips to the Eastern Conference Final and one appearance in the Stanley Cup Final. Mr. Melnyk is involved in many philanthropic endeavours, mainly in the areas of childcare, medical research and specifically organ donation. He has close ties with military charities and is a proud supporter of the Armed Forces. In recognition, in September 2014, Canada’s then Minister of National Defence, the Honorable Rob Nicholson, appointed Melnyk as the Honorary Colonel of the 414 Electronic Warfare Squadron of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Derek Clark is the Chief Operating Officer at Neurolign. Derek was most recently the Chief Commercial Officer for GE Canada, where he was responsible for driving growth across all GE Businesses in Canada. The majority of Derek’s 20 years at GE were in progressive leadership roles in the Healthcare business unit, in the commercialization of medical devices in diagnostic imaging, patient monitoring, IT and services. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from McMaster University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario’s Ivey School of Business.Read More
Natalie Ceccato is the Senior Director of Business and Market Intelligence at Neurolign. Natalie has held leadership roles building, transforming and championing insight departments across the health care system for over 15 years. Most recently she led the development of research, analytics and insight functions at LifeLabs as the Director of Business Insights and Customer Experience. Her expertise centers on integrating research, market and competitive intelligence, customer and business analytics into actionable insights to drive strategy development and execution. Alex Kiderman is the Vice President of Technology Development at Neurolign. Alex has over 30 years of experience in engineering, medical diagnostics, and industrial manufacturing. He comes from Neuro Kinetics where he led the numerous concussion and vestibular research initiatives resulting in 26 U.S. issued patents as the Chief Technology Officer. Alex earned his engineering doctorate at the Academy of Science in Moscow, and has over 20 peer reviewed publications.Read More
Michael Saporito is the Senior Director of Finance and Operations at Neurolign. Michael was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of Neuro Kinetics where oversaw the overall financial operations.
